S/p excisional biopsy x2weeks now red and sore

I had an excisional biopsy of R breast 2 weeks ago. Every thing has been fine up until yesterday when I started having a little pain. I looked at the site today and there's a quarter size red area that is painful to touch. Has anyone else had a problem this far out from their biopsy?

    If it isn't an apparent bruise (mine was technicolor for a long time, and the bruising eventually slid down my breast, pooling in the bottom) you should contact your doctor to make sure you haven't developed an infection.

    I was just cleaning around it and it started to drain. So I'm going to call him in the morning. I wonder why it waited so long to get infected?
