Can tamoxifen cause fatty liver disease?

Hi All- I've been on tamoxifen for about two years now and I was just diagnosed with fatty liver disease (after my blood test indicated a rise in my liver enzymes) My doctor says there is no connection between the two but my research has shown otherwise. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this? Thank you
