repeat unilateral mammogram and u/s after surgical consult

I have been confirmed by biopsy after a mammo and an ultrasound two weeks ago. have an MRI booked this Saturday then see the surgical oncologist April 3. I see on my online schedule they now have me also booked for unilateral mammogram and ultrasound. Why would they do this? They did not call me to tell me about it. Not sure why they would do another mammo and u/s. Any thoughts? My tumour was 1.4 cm, doesn't look like any axillary involvement (noted on first ultrasound)
