It's a cyst

I had a mammogram and ultrasound today. I have dense breasts and a cyst. I was given the option to biopsy or do another ultrasound in 6 months. Anyone had a cyst removed? This think is very painful and I'm not sure I can wait 6 months!

    I have a cyst as well. They did not give me the option to remove it, and mine is painful at times. I also have two fibroadenomas that hurt in same breast. One is 2.5 cm and there has been no talk of removing any of my lumps. That being said, I think they can drain a cyst with a needle and that will sometimes be the end of it.
