support for remaining breast after unilat mx with TE?

I had a unilat mx in August of 2016 and had a TE put in then. It's now all inflated and quite firm and perky on that side. Self-supporting, as it were. The other side is its usual A-barely B cup self, drooping along after several years of breastfeeding.

I generally just wear a camisole or go commando under a comfy shirt, and it's no big deal.

I just finished radiation and so have at least 6-8 months before getting the more permanent recon and "balancing" done (all of which I'm having second thoughts about...but that's another post!)

In the meantime, I have to go to a wedding in May, and I found a really nice pretty and comfy dress I'd like to wear, but the asymmetry is (somewhat) more apparent. Basically I think it would look a bit better if I could somehow lift the non-mx side just a wee bit (and maybe also cover the nipple?) But this dress is 1) off the shoulder, which limits the bra choice, and 2) every time I've tried to wear any bra since surgery (have tried different kinds: xl sports, coobie, front closure) I can't tolerate the feeling of the bra band under my mx area for very long.

Just wondering if there is anyone who has ever been in a similar situation and has found a creative solution. Wondering if I could somehow tape just the one side up a little? Does this call for duct tape?? This is way out of my realm of experience.

Amazing what we get to problem solve in this new realm. Lol.

Although my problem was a little different, I think it may be a solution. I found a strapless bra...like a tube top in the teen shop at Kmart. It had pockets in in for modesty panel... so on the mx side you could add the volume you need. The wide band made it very comfortable. As an almost-b, I have an entire drawer of modesty panels, bra inserts, etc.

many sports bra --which are much more comfortable-- have this pocket. So they give you options to attain semetry.
