CMF and loss hair

Hi! anyone of you has been on CMF chemo? my mum had one cycle of CMF and oncologist said she won't loss hair but its not true, you lost hair?

apart from that, how time it worked for you? and SE?

Had CMF for 6 months. I was bald from previous chemo, but all my hairs grew back in.

My mom did not lose her hair on CMF. I had another chemo, TAC, and lost it all, everywhere. Maybe it took 3 months to grow back on the head. Leg hair never grew back. Yay!!

I lost 90% of my hair on CMF. I never had bad side effects. I queasy being tire was about it. Hair grew back really quick.

I had 8 rounds of CMF and didn't lose all my hair. It did thin, but no one other than me, my husband and my hair dresser could tell.

As with any chemo, the further you go into treatment, the SEs increase. I was nauseous, but if I took my Zofran, it was manageable. The main thing for me was the exhaustion, but if the chemo got all the little suckers, it was worth it!

Has been effective CMF for you?

She had 2nd cycle on tuesday, her TM were 250 and decreased to 140 on the 1st cycle. Onco wanted to put her on paclitaxel but unfortunately she is allergic.. while she was having paclitaxel she stopped breathing. Cyclophosphamide seems to give her a little allergic but we are hopeful with CMF.
