Just because your genetic testing (blood or saliva) came back negative for genetic mutations doesn't mean that BRCA mutations don't affect you:

BRCA+ signatures in up to half the tumors of some BRCA- patients?

The article on the GenomeWeb site, citing a study reported in Nature Today, suggests that more patients than previously thought might benefit from further tumor analysis and PARP-inhibitor therapy. Might there be additional criteria added to common tumor-cell genomic tests?
