Back pain after final expansion

hello,

I had my final expansion 2 weeks ago with little to no pain through the process. I'm finding since then when I lie on my back I'm getting a sharp pain in my shoulder blade, where the expander is but in my back not front. Is back pain 'normal'? I'm 1.5 years out from TN diagnosis and pain of any form still freaks me out!

    Kat - you still have TEs? Yes, it's perfectly normal to have all kinds of pain as the fluid expands & stretches. It's probably a good idea to let your doc PS know. They can take out some of the saline. In the mean time, don't lie flat on your back. Plump up with pillows.

    thank you for your reply! Yes I do on the right, went straight to implant with the prophylactic side. My expanded boob is a little uncomfortable but it's the back pain when lying down that's got me worried. Thank you for your advice, I'll prop myself up tonight on lots of pillows :)
