Long term appetite loss?

Options

Hi there,

I finished chemo in October and rads in January. It is March and I still have very little appetite. If I'm not careful I can go the whole day without eating and not feel hungry. The good news is I'm not gaining or losing weight-- am trying to keep eating healthy and exercising. Has anyone else had this happen?

Jojo, This was not my experience, but I bet there are others who did experience this appetite loss. I am bumping your question to the top of the active threads, where more people will see it and hopefully respond. I am so glad you are feeling good, and are able to maintain your weight. Good news !

Thank you so much for the kind words, Meadow!! Probably any odd side effect these days can be attributed to bc. Augh!

    In solidarity,

Jobird - I didn't eat much during chemo. For one thing, it went right through. I lost 60 lbs & turned skeletal. After chemo it was had to make myself eat. I did a Carnation Instant Breakfast every morning though. Try setting up a batch of small portions ready to eat or microwave.
