Hi all....I'm Felicia and I live in Las Vegas.

I'm 57 and had a routine mammo in Dec 2016. Went back in Jan 2017 for an ultra sound mammo. Was sent for a biopsy in Feb. They could not do the biopsy. (another long story)

Went for MRI and results came back this Friday. Dr called me in her office. Birad score is 4c. Need biopsy done immediately I'm trying to get the biopsy done at the AZ Cancer Treatment Ctr. Should Know Monday if they'll accept me and my insurance.

Has anyone been treated there? Thoughts in geneal?

    80% of Birad 4 biopsies are benign. It takes a biopsy to get a DX of BC that comes back positive for some type of BC (DCIS, IDC, ILC, IBC) - not just doing a biopsy.

    I know nothing about that Facility.

    You can search this site for Cancer Treatment Centers of America (I think that's the facility you're referencing). A few, but not many, bco members have been treated there. Remember, you may not have cancer and no one, and I truly mean no one , likes the fact that they are here.
