Hi! I am new to this forum. I was diagnosed with invasive her2 positive breast cancer. I've had a complete mastectomy and 2 rounds of chemo. My question is, I'm thinking about discontinueing chemo since I've already had 2 rounds of chemo and a  mastectomy and the cancer was only 2mm  in siz  and negative lymph nodes?  What do you all think? Any advice is greatly appreciated !!

I think with a her2+ tumor I'd finish the chemo. Your tumor is tiny, but fierce. If you're in your 70s and willing to roll the dice, go for it. But if you have potentially 25-30 yrs life expectancy you might not want to do that. Your call.

I would also continue chemo and whatever else your MO has planned for you (radiation etc) They are the experts and choose treatment plans based on your diagnosis....

I wouldn't gamble on my life...

Treatment decisions are very personal. As the others have stated, your age, your expectations, and of course the opinions of the experts will all need to be weighed before you make your decision. We wish you the best of luck as you navigate all these decisions!
