Waiting too for biopsy results after a second mammo rated 4a

Hi ladies ! I've been reading most of your posts. You guys are awesome! I got all the info I needed but now I need to vent as I'm waiting, going crazy in my mind... I'm 41, BC history (mother and her mother), 2 mammo that were not as negative as I wished (like everyone here!). I have the appointment with Dr and results on Monday March 13th. I have the impression that nobody else care now as they go on with their lives, even my husband! Thanks for letting me rant

Didn't see your post 'til now. It is the absolute worst part of medical testing. I, truthfully, don't know how any of us have done it. I started walking more, reading posts when I hadthoughts I needed answered. I bought a cheap guitar and started to teach myself how to play it, i don't play piano but have one and started teaching myself that as well. Find one person in your world you can talk with. Keeping busy is the key. Hoping for a benign outcome. The 13th is certainly a long time to wait, can you be put on a cancelation waitlist?

I agree with kayla, waiting sucks and I'd call and see if I could get in sooner. Sometimes, the doctor's nurse or the scheduler at the imaging center will take pity and help us out. Ask about a cancellation list (if you can be ready to fill in a slot quickly). Also good suggestions about keeping busy. Waiting is awful! ((hugs))

If it helps at all, 80% of BIRADS 4a come back as B9

Actually, 80% of Birads 4 (all categories together) are benign. Birads 4a is closer to 90% benign
