ILC with 1/3 positive nodes - link with liver cysts?

I was diagnosed with ILC and when the pathology revealed I was node positive, my doctor ordered scans. My bone scan and lung scan came back clear, but my liver scan showed two cysts. They are believed to be benign but my MO has ordered an ultrasound to make sure.

I have done some research and it is my understanding that while some cysts can be cancerous, lesions that are caused by metastasis would be solid and hence not show up as cysts. If this is true, then it's unlikely the cancer has spread (though it doesn't rule out a second primary cancer of course).

Does anyone know anything about this? Could a 1.8mm tumour in the breast spread and cause cancerous cysts in the liver???

Liver cysts are really common. My "incindetalomas" from when I had ovarian cancer CT scans and later breast MRI were kidney cyst, liver cyst and cyst on the head of my humerus. The doctors weren't worried about any of them. Hope your ultrasound shows them to be clearly benign.
