High dose tamoxifen

Looking to see if anyone has been on high dose tamoxifen? I am just completing my 6th cycle of Taxol and if my scans next week look good my oncologist would like to change therapy. I am okay with this as developing neuropathy and severe dryness of skin and eyes. I had genomic testing done last fall and I am resistant to aromatase inhibitors as I have the ESR 1 with subtype Y537S mutation. In researching my treatment options I have seen several recommendations for high dose tamoxifen. Has anyone been on this therapy?

    I haven't heard of it but am bumping this in hopes someone will chime in. I would like more info on this trestment

    I am on low dose Tamoxifen as I am an ultra rapid metabolizer. Perhaps your side effects will depend on how you metabolize the drug.  In any case Tamoxifen gave me much stronger and more frequent hot flashes than I was having with aromatase inhibitors, although that was after 5 years of AIs. They were probably more like at the start of AI treatment.
