looking for reason that it might not be cancer (had mamos and ultrasounds all clear) I have a divot in the side of my breast when I do the hands on hips and tensing pectoral muscles I do have a small palpable lump on the side that is divoting but am thinking maybe I am worried for nothing especially since the scans from this year and 2014 have identical reports with no findings of any kind

Csly, if your scans from this year haven't changed from 2014, then you can relax :)

It means everything is stable and you are a-ok :)

The only thing that worried me is that they can feel a mass but can see nothing in the scans of any type but you are saying that if they can't see it in 2014 or now but can feel it both times and now there is dimpeling( when tensing chest muscles with hands in hips), I am stillfine?? I have read so much about that sometimes things don't show an for was concerned. Do you know what benign things could be the cause of my divot ( not wrinkles more like a pressed in small area )??????

Csly, it helps to stick to one post as there are suggestions and further information on your previous post that people who answer this one might not see. I know it can be anxiety provoking to have these questions and be concerned about your breasts, however, keeping your surgical consult is the best way to get answers, no one here can diagnose you. Good luck!

ok sorry I just thought that different people might be in different discussions with different life and medical experiences and could shed different light, I am not looking for diagnosis online just compassion and insight from others journeys who are much more knowledgeable than I am. I did not know that seeing posts from other people was necessary for posting about your own experiences that is why I did not think it was bad to post in multiple places. So if I get no responses in one place should I remove the question before asking it another place??? Will everyone's on all of the boards see all of the posts and be able to answer if they have any experience that is pertinent ???? Sorry I am new and don't know all of the rules just love others advice, I know no one is going to do what a doctor in the office does.

on this benign breast conditions page I was just hoping to see if anyone here has had divots in their breasts on a spot that has had a lump for years, this would let me know that while their diagnosis might not be what is going on with me that there is a cancer possibility and also a possibility of .............. that I can mention when I go to the doctor as another possibility for what might be going on.

    Csly,

It isn't "bad", but there were quite a few responses on your other post that people who are reading THIS post might not see, so they miss that thread, with the questions that folks asked you and your responses. It is much easier for the amazing women on these boards to be most helpful when they have as much information as possible, that's all.
