Multiple indentations on each breast?
Hello all... Im a 30 year old who for the last 5 months has been feeling breast pain, and multiple lumps on each breast. Recently i noticed 3 indentations, 1 on one breast, 2 in the other. Now more have appeared. When i tense up my arms next to my body, i can see several indentations on each breast on the sides. I have been researching about multiple indentations but havent found any info similar to mine. I dont want to be dramatic, but i feel like i have very advanced BC. I have pain on both armpits, pain on my collarbone, spinal pain, neck pain, and pressure on my forehead. I used to think it was fibromyalgia, and i thought the breast lumps were cysts, until these indentations appeared. I dont know what else it would be besides BC on both breasts... I am only 30 and have 3 small children and of course im scared to death, i cry often. Ive also been feeling very exhausted, my eyelids feel very heavy and tired. I am debating whether to see a doc or not. If this is really BC it sounds advanced according to my symptoms. Any input is appreciated.

It sounds to me like you need a really thorough physical. Tell your dr all your symptoms and concerns. Cancer is very unlikely at your age but it sounds like something is definitely going on and it would be good to get it taken care of

Claudia, take a deep breath. I think that going to see a doctor about new breast lumps and indentations is a very reasonable first step. I can't tell by how you phrased it "I thought the breast lumps were cysts" whether you've been told by a medical provider that your lumps are cysts, or just had that thought yourself. If they haven't been evaluated, or there are changes in your breasts, it would be good for you to see your ob/gyn for an exam. It would be unlikely for a 30 year old to have "very advanced BC", so try not to focus on that particular outcome. Having 3 small children is enough to leave many women feeling exhausted and tired,
but again, if that is a new and different experience for you, then it certainly warrants seeing your doctor. Having concerning symptoms checked out by your doctor isn't dramatic, its responsible. If you are really nervous about all of it, and you feel it is hard to articulate well to medical providers, then write down what is bothering you and when different symptoms occurred, if anything makes them feel better/worse and any questions you have. Go ahead and schedule, you'll feel better just starting the process. And try to remember, you don't have cancer until they tell you that you have cancer. Sending you hugs!

thanks for your response... I did see a gynecologic oncologist back in october... Told him i had breast pain (didnt have any indentations then) and told me that since both breasts were affected it should be a hormonal problem and prescribed some birth control pills. Him being an oncologist made me trust him, then again he didnt send me for ultrasound or mammo. Then i started thinking, both my breasts hurt, and they both have lumps, so i said it should be fibrocystic changes! I dont have any cancer history in my family, and me being only 30 made me accept maybe its just hormonal changes. But i started having bone pain, on my spine, then these indents. I sure as hell im confused about what is going on. Stupid me for thinking it was a benign condition. I really im praying for something benign but i seriously doubt it is

I'm not sure what a gynecological oncologist would do for breast pain. Their specialy isn't breasts. I went to gyn onc when I had ovarian cancer

i actually saw him because i suspected i had something wrong in my ovaries. Actually my health problems started with spotting between periods. And alot of period like cramping. Of course i suspected a cancer in my female parts. Around that time my breast pain started. I felt like the cramping and breast pain were connected. I went to see him due to the spotting, and told him about the breast pain. I somehow do feel there was a major hormonal imbalance which caused something in my breasts. The cramping and spotting went away. Yet the breasts getting worse..

Why would you think/self DX fibromyalgia (or was it Dr Quack Google that DXd it?) and how long ago?
Sounds like it would be a good idea to start with a thorough physical work-up with your GP/PCP as a first step to rule out (or rule in) so many possibilities as to what is might be going on.
"Pressure on forehead, eyelids very heavy and tired" doesn't 'scream' advanced/Stage IV BC.
"I don't know what else it could be besides BC" No - you definately don't nor does anyone else. To DX anything, it takes a Dr ( or possible those with specific expertise that not all possess) and testing/scans often needed. No one here can possibly DX you - we can only give input from our own experiences.
Just went back and read through your posts - It's been over 6 weeks since you started saying that you were sure that you were BC and you have gotten replies which it appears all wasted their time to write them as you haven't apparently seen a Dr yet. Seek the help you need - sooner rather than later not matter what help is needed.

I dont understand why some people here are so rude... I havent seen a dr due to economic reasons as well as the fact that i had been told i had a,benign disease... Im just coming here for opinions on multiple indents or to tell me if someones had that.. Didnt come here for diagnosis obviously. I have been going thru hell with worry and you just make me feel worse
if you think im coming here just to bother anyone youre wrong. I wish i wasnt here posting. But i appreciat those who responded in such a kind way.
