Largest cysts ever?

For "fun" let's have a contest. I get large fluid filled simple cysts in both of my tiny breasts (barely B cup). I have other fibrocystic issues, dense breasts, but I'm here today to talk about large simple cysts and fine needle aspirations.

They are often quite painful. I've had several needle aspirations done over the past 10 years - starting at age 38. I live with -- in the words of my previous breast doc -- "innumerable" small cysts in both breasts all the time

In 2012 my largest cyst to that date was aspirated - left breast - and it was 7ccs -- that's the cyst that got me to give up caffeine!

Last week I beat that record. I had a cyst aspirated - right breast - and it was 82 ccs. I told the doc I bet this is the largest of mine so far and she had to take a second to add up the multiple syringes to get the count.

Beat that :)

And yes I have given up all caffeine even chocolate, I take EPO, am vegetarian, healthy otherwise. I have a solid lump in my left breast that's likely a cyst that got infected and complex, having it excised in a couple of weeks. This thread isn't as much for advice (though it is welcome too) but mainly for a little fun.

My breast surgeon recently aspirated 20 cc black-brown fluid from 6 cm cyst. It is quite surprising for me since I am only 26 years old and I have very small breast like 11 year old...lol.. I wear A cup bra. I am also very small tiny women...weighs only 45 kg and stand 5 feet tall :)

I have at least 15 cysts in total for both breast and they range from 0.5 to 6 cm...doctor only remove the large cyst which was 6 cm.

My doctor told me to avoid caffeine, tea and milk. I have been reading a lot that caffeine is culprit but when my doctor told me to stop drinking milk I found this a bit strange...She told me that I have cysts due to hormonal changes related to menstrual period and I have to live with these changes throughout my life...she can not drained all cysts from my breast...

I eat almost everything. I have decided give up all caffeine and milk related product including ice cream, tea, and chocolate...hope for the best.

Cysts can happen at any age, they aren't as age related as cancer is. One thing I did NOT know until I already had cancer is that having dense breasts does slightly increase the chance for cancer. So do make sure you start mammograms at age 40, and draw anything "unusual" to your doc's attention before then. (You will get to know your own breasts and what's usual for them -- cysts tend to to have a similar feeing that you will get to know).

Although they can't drain them all, they CAN and SHOULD drain any that are particularly painful for you or that get particularly large.(not because of cancer worry -- cysts are virtually all benign -- but for your comfort, no need to live with the pain from a very large one

Giving up caffeine was hard but helped my cysts a LOT. Also taking evening primrose oil helped. Both ofthese had been recommended to me by a major, respected breast specialty center at an academic med center in a major city. My breasts were a lot less painful (and no cancer) until I hit perimenopause this year. Excersize and general healthy eating helps too. Even just mild exercise like walking/treadmill

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis...I think cysts increase chance of BC in some women because it hides cancerous cells/tumors...I am also concern of getting BC diagnosis at some point in my life. Since, my mother side of family have history of blood, bone and ovarian cancer.

I have so many small (pea size) cysts that I have no idea how 'normal' breast feels like...It will be quite difficult to feel any changes in my breast. Self-breast exam will be useless for me. I have decided to get another ultrasound in 3 months. People usually say that cysts dont need follow up but I don't understand how I will know if I have cancerous lump growing...

I was reading that cysts are common in women in their late 30's to 50's. Also, common in women taking hormonal contraceptives etc. Neither of those two applied to me. Also, I don't drink coffee, I only drink like 2 cups of black tea a day...I thought my case was unusual...
