Lump removal atypical cells ?

I have a large palpable lump and inverted nipple. I had a mammogram, ultra sound and fine needle biopsy currently waiting core needle biopsy results. My fine needle biopsy shows many Atypical cells according to my Doctor, she says regardless of core biopsy results I need to have the lump removed and tested as soon as possible, the radiographer who did the mammogram also strongly recommended this.. When I went for the core biopsy, the second radiographer had not even looked at the mammogram and ultrasound images, just used his own access to ultrasound as he was carrying out biopsy. I was furious at this as it seemed careless? He also commented that from he could see my tumour did not look like a typical cancerous growth. I had a areal sense of impatience from him. I called my doctor elated as i felt he had almost given me the all clear. her response was we had to wait for results, and the results she had already seen worried her so don't build my hopes up. I am confused, two different radiographers, two different opinions but I guess my doctor is consistent. I have to travel home to Europe to have surgery if this is necessary as I have no medical coverage where I currently live so any advice is welcome?

Sorry to hear what you are going through! Sounds as though you need just to wait for the final results, as hard as the waiting is. Need be, you may want a third opinion, though you sound satisfied with your doctor. Hang in there, and please keep us posted.
