Dear all,

Since the stem cell lipotransfer surgery Suzanne Somers had a few years ago, it didn't seem to be the center of hot topics. Does anyone have success story to share using this new option, not having issues (shrinkage, necrosis...etc.), but nice sensation and other good things come along with it after a few years? It's known that fat grafting may make cancer detection job challenging. Is the same concern going with the stem cell assisted lipo transfer? It must be a wonder that one will have no incisions, scars and fat can be generated to fill the entire breast in lieu of implants or FLAPs. Please share your thoughts. Thanks!!

I didn't suceed, but I got some benefit from Fat Grafting. Helped heal my skin from severe Rad Damage/Fibrosis. Secondly, it has made my Prepectoral Implant Reconstruction look good, no implant edges, animation defect or rippling. I didn’t have a PS with a great deal of experience doing Fat Grafting because of where I lived, so I might have succeeded and created a breast from my fat alone if I had the good luck to get an experienced PS. I lacked money for out of state care, unfortunately.

Thank you macb04. Where did you get your Cell Lipotransfer? It wasn't successful because tissue didn't live? I believe the technique (which is different from fat grafting) has been around for a few years but you're right that the challenge is to find the ps who knows how to do it right. Out of this forum, it didn't seem that many ladies did the stem cell to fill the entire breast, rather using fat grafting...

I am glad the fat grafting is helpful to you. Best luck to you!

    Hi cloudcleare,

I had the Fat grafting with Dr Frank Isik in Seattle. I did not have good sucess, partially because of rad damage makiing it harder for the fat to survive, and partially because he didn't have a lot of fat grafting experience. I couldn't afford to go out of state to a more experienced PS for Fat Grafting.

    hi.

I am plugging along with fatgrafting alone. Just completed seventh of eight !! These procedure have been over 25 months. Alot of damage from rads. But skin is in good shape now. Have an A cup. Arm pit is filled in. Mx scar is very hard to see. No pain in mx site. No tightness. Healing is happening. I can sleep on my stomach. I hope the 8th with a lift to other side will complete b cup restoration. No guarantees.

But it is a long process. Am traveling out of state each time to a Florida doctor. But it is not scarless. I have many small lipo scars, which aren't bad, but they are there. On another note, my thighs, waisted and stomach are looking pretty good. But that wasn't fast either.

I do have some return of sensation. But it is far from normal and far from complete. My insurance company covered the first five. I'm now arguing with them over six and seven.

    Good luc
