Ugh! I always knew I could end up back here, just felt like this year life was getting more un-cancery in year 7.

I had calcifications on a mammo, biopsy scheduled on Friday February 10.

I guess it's birads 4 not 5.

Radiologist was quite optimistic, my oncologist was warning me even if it's DCIS I would likely need a mastectomy since I was already radiated.

Back in 09-10 I had a very difficult recovery with a LOT of pain. I could not drive for months, had frozen shoulder, did not work for a year.

I am not really worried about this cancer killing me but I am terribly worried about having another painful recovery.

I might consider flap reconstruction since it is beneficial for lymphadema, but part of me says my best bet is the simplest surgery possible which would be no recon.
