I have my DIEP surgery with Dr. Craigie (Center for Natural Breast Reconstruction) on March 14, 2017. I am debating whether I should get a hotel room or rent a house (Airbnb, VRBO). I would really like to have two bedrooms so my husband and I can get some restful sleep, especially after my surgery. Thanks for any recommendations!

    Personally I would I would like to have fresh sheets & towels every day & someone cleaning the room You could get a room with two queen or king beds. On the other hand, if your DH snores, I understand your thoughts.

    You will probably not want to sleep flat, so a wedge might be a good idea if there isn't a recliner.

    I am scheduled to have my recon surgery in nov 2017 with Dr Kline and Dr Craigie. I had bmx last year and had te to imlants done in march bu lost the left implant due to previous radiation treatment that caused ulcers to develop and then a very serious infection set in. I look like the ribs on the left have caved in and worry that my next surgery (sgap) won't look natural. How did your surgery turn out and how was your experience with the doctors there?
