alas they told me it was impossible to get lymphedema from a core needle biopsy of a axilla node

Now my arm is twice its size .The emotional pain is worst than physical pain.

Please guys say no to this procedure until it is truly necessary

ok so update

Went to lymphedema therapist and breast surgeon . conclusion its post op swelling the actual difference between limb is between 0.5cm to 1.5cm .so they say watch and wait. The breast surgeon wants to excise pash disease of the breast. I have refused same. lymphedema therapist thought me how to do manual lymphatic drainage and will remeasure me in a week while I wait I have research and found no documentated cases of lymphedema from a core needle of the axilla. I am truly not functioning my poor husband and son. I think they miss my fun loving ways. I have just retreated to silence and arm obbession most days.

So update

My limb is not completely normal, but my lymph edema therapist as discharged me. She states that I should just continue to do daily MLD my swelling is now 0.4 cm difference at the elbow and 0.8 cm near to shoulder region no swelling in hands. She states that a core needle biopsy is unlikely of a lymph node is unlikely to result in lymphedema. She thinks I don't require a compression garment. She states that my swelling did not change with elevation did not pit, hence she is doesnt think its lymphatic related. Am still confused and Concerned. I do notice the welling a little. I am not allowing any more surgical procedures therefore the PASH disease will remain in my breast. Anyone experience minor swelling from lymph node biopsy that eventually resolve?
