Halaven?

Has anyone experienced success with Halaven? I have just begun my second round of chemo using this drug and was wondering if it has proven to be successful with anyone on this forum. I would appreciate any info you might share.

    it worked for a short period of time for me but not as long as I would have liked

    This is my first time posting - mostly I just read for inspiration and support - but I wanted to offer my 2 cents about Halaven. I was first diagnosed in 2011 with IBC, then had a recurrence in 2014 (skin mets). The treatment was Halaven. I had 8 rounds and the skin mets disappeared. I was left with some cancerous cells behind my chest wall, but the hope was that the hormonal treatments would keep them at bay for a while. I tolerated Halaven very well - had little to no side effects except for fatigue that set in toward the last few treatments. The good news is my doc says that since it was working so well, I can always go back to it at some point! Good luck to you!
