Treatment of skin for African American

I as m a Africa american. Did not know what to expect in radiation. As far sun burned I had nerver experience that. My left Breast is black. I have peeling ired patches. Will this go away. Will my skin be back to normal? Is there any type of treatment of the skin for women of color? What products did you use?

    Nasiya - I am not an African American so I can't speak directly to your question, but I do think each radiologist has different requirements & recommendations. Mine liked Aquafor. I got her to agree that I could use CeraVe (available at drug stores). Hope your doc is willing to discuss this with you.

    Did you have pain in you breast at times. I have these sharp pains that go and come.

    Nasiya - sorry to say that I'm far enough past rads that I can't answer accurately. Hopefully someone else will jump in.
