Swelling after mastectomy

hello, did anyone have swelling after their surgery? My wife had BMX 5 days ago and believes she has swelling above her incision area. Her doctor, over the phone thinks it's just her exapanders and there's no need to worry. We don't see him for another couple of days where he can look for himself. I guess my question is, is it common for it to look swollen with the expanders

    Lautrec - yes, I posted an answer on another thread. It's common to be swollen well past 6 weeks. After exchange it's common to be swollen from 6 weeks to 6 months while the implants settle. As they say on the Exchange Tread - walk away from the mirror.
