Both breasts affected

Hi, just got diagnosed with tiny, Hers2+ tumor in left breast. Found abnormal banding in right breast during breast mri. Now I am having biopsy on it before proceeding with treatment of other. Getting very anxious. Thank you.

    Bluebird - the waiting is the worst. Try to find things you like to do to keep your mind off the worries. If you get really anxious, do contact your doctor for an anti-anxiety medication. And try to stay away from Dr. Google.

    hi, thank you to all that replied. I found out after biopsy that whatever they saw in my right breast is benign. So relieved. Makes me so happy I only have cancer in ONE breast! Had lumpectomy yesterday. Dr said she thinks she got it all and clean margins. Also nodes looked good but will have results on Tuesday. Thanks for listening. Elaine

    Yes, I found it quite ironic I was so relieved to not have cancer in the other breast that I'm not worried about what I do have. I will get complete report Tuesday. Right now all I know is that the tumor was estrogen negative progesterone negative and HERS2 positive.
