I am hoping this does not double up with any previous posting.

I am looking for a spot to share favourite simple, fast, highly nutritious, calorie appropriate recipes/food suggestions.

(besides a glass of red a with a piece of dark chocolate)

How do you eat well and simple while working, taking care of a family and having various treatments/follow up?

Muesli (Gordon Ramsay recipe adaptation)

300g oats, 200g rice bubbles, 200g honey ( warm until runny, can substitute golden syrup) 100 g almonds, 50 g Brazilian nuts ( chopped) 100g walnuts, 75 g flax seed, 75 g cranberries, 75 g sultanas

Mix all nuts with runny honey and bake (160 -180celsius) 30-40 minutes in tray (very thin layer - watch it will burn quickly towards the end - may need to mix through at 15/20 minutes)

Cool, add dried fruit and store in jar.

( I started this post because the American Cancer Society guidelines advise eating small and frequent meals... and while that might be fine in principle I believe for many of us it is hard to do in practice on a long term daily basis)

😊

Ok, I just noticed there is a thread called "Healthy Recipes" in Day to Day matters.

I am looking particularly for super easy, very very simple highly nutritious recipes. 😊

    - salads

    - one pot wonders

    - smoothies favourites

    - simple bakes
