Mine were terribly tight at first. It was quite a bit better in about six months. Five years out I can feel them if I think of it, no pain at all, I've not lost any strength, it doesn't feel the same but it is a new normal.

I'd say about the 3rd or 4th year I stopped noticing them unless I thought about it. Before that if I did heavier outdoor work the feelings in the pec muscles were noticeable- but not painful. It is not a perfect solution but I like having something already in place, and I love not wearing a bra - ever. I've always thought being flat would be freeing too. My implants are 421cc, smallish for my size, but good enough for me.

I've had implants (,saline) for 17 years (augmentation) and will be having a BMX soon with implants again. It does take some time even without a MX to get used to the them but once you do, you never think about it! My original surgeon had me doing breast massages 3 times a day back then to loosen them up....I don't know if it would be the same benefit for silicone but it helped me. Good luck!
