Considering switching meds looking for insight

Hello all, I'm looking for some insight on side effects of arimidex vs tamoxifen. Some background... I'm 33 years old almost 34, diagnosed with stage 1 idc at 31, no lymph node involvement, 14 onco score. Tested negative in my risk panel & brca tests however my mom also had bc & my great aunt had ovarian cancer. I had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction in May 2015. I'm obviously pre-menopausal but my onco preferred I take arimidex rather than tamoxifen & I need to be in menopause for that so I did what he wanted. For about 1 1/2 years now I'm in induced menopause from zoladex (injection once every 3 months & has its own side effects) and daily arimidex. At first I had some side effects but I've always been an achy person. I figured nothing I couldn't handle I'll push through the 5 years. Now though the side effects just keep increasing. Pain all the time, everywhere but especially my hip, legs, ankles, fingers, & lower back. Eczema, hair changes, extreme weight gain, fatigue, stomach issues, I'm miserable, short tempered I could go on. I can't continue like this. I have a full time job & 2 children aged 10 & 5 & im having the hardest time just getting up each day. My doctor said he'd like me to do at least 2 years of this which is coming up &then if I want I can switch to tamoxifen for an additional 5 years bringing my total years to 7. Do I go with what I know and push through the remaining three years on arimidex or go off of menopause and try tamoxifen and add two years to my treatment and possibly have other worse side effects? I'm looking for some insight from those who've taken either med and maybe went into menopause like I did or anyone who has taken both meds. TIA!
