I posted my long story in the ILC forum (Just Diagnosed, EastCoastTS). It would not let me place the link in this submission. Probably should have posted here. ;)

My questions seem to change every day as I learn more but are now:

  • What is typical follow-up treatment if you chose lumpectomy? The 1st BS I spoke to suggested I see her and OM rotating every 6 months. With mammo only. Which is not comforting as my ILC was occult and completely missed on mammos for 9 yrs (including most recent where I told them where the lump was). All according to the dr. Also missed on US likely, if up to them without my feeling lump. Seeing 2nd opinion BS next week.
  • Any lumpectomy advice for very small-chested chicks? (I have option for both lump or mast.)

Also, how in the world do I create my signature???

Thank you for the advice! I've learned a lot on this site, though wish I didn't have to.
