Pain in joints and breast

My last chemo was February 5, 2016, I then had 2 lumpectomy on my left breast - they had to go back in and take more because the margins were too close. I also had 34 proton therapy treatments 8 were boosts. I'm now on Armidex and get a Lupron shot once every 3 months.

I'm having never ending pain in my hips, back, and arms. Plus, my breast is still sore where the surgical scar is. Is this all normal? I take Caltrate twice a day for the calcium and vitamin D. My oncologist says the rest is due to my hormone therapy drugs, which are a necessary evil. It is just overwhelming.

Thanks in advance.

You might take a look at the threads that discuss anti-inflammatories like turmeric or joint support like glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM.

If you're having soreness near the incision, it might be good to get a PT evaluation and treatment for scar adhesion or cording, if those are what turns to out to be the issue.

    Goods luck!
