Hi all,

just got diagnosed a few hours ago. IDC, right, DCIS ,left. estrogen and progesterone positive, HER2 pending. for the members who live in San Diego, Ca area, do you know anything about DR. Robert Barone, surgical oncologist.he is kinda old already (maybe in his 70'2)but his resume is impressive. i think he is affiliated with Sharp and Scripps. also, Dr. Kristen Rice, and Jennifer Fisher, medical oncologists. please, any feedback will be appreciated.

Hi Caroline, I met with Dr. Barone earlier this week to get a second opinion. He seems very thorough and knowledgeable. I am doing own research on him before I have surgery. Did you end up having him perform your surgery? Would love to know your experience. Thank you!
