One Year Post-BMX No Recon Appointment with Breast Surgeon

I am coming up on my one year (Jan 12th) surgical anniversary of my BMX. I saw my surgeon late June and will be seeing her again later this month. When I saw her 6 months ago, all she did was a physical exam.

I had regular labs done by my internist shortly before that appointment as I was told by BS office that she would just order standard labs based on my pathology (no markers etc) because I was due for a physical and I had her order almost every possible type of blood test so I could try to keep a needle stick to once a year. They all came back fine.

I am anxious this week and was curious if anything other than a physical exam is in order. If you are going in for a routine 6 month check-up and everything else is ok, is that all you do unless the exam gives surgeon reason to do any other testing?

I think just a physical exam, you came out ok with bloodwork. So unless you have symptoms I think you should just expect physical exam,

Thanks Meow13. Luckily I think/hope any symptoms I have are all in my crazy brain from nerves and anxiety.
