Severe itchy nipple

Hi ladies I posted this on the breast reconstruction thread but I also wanted some input from this thread. I am 8 weeks out from my phase 2 diep. My nipple on the breast lift non cancer side is itching me terribly. The itching has been for about 3 weeks now. It is getting worse. I also feel what only can be described as a ridge or rope like feeling in one part. I wasn't to worried I just thought healing after surgery. My pt said things look good. I did not men tion the itching because it was bearable in addition the breast is warm and sore. Slightly flaky. I don't want to overreact. Have any of you ecprtiencrd similar
