I have been reading about how it's important to have your tissues examined by a "breast pathologist" as opposed to, idk, a general pathologist I guess.

How do you know if the pathologist who examined your tissue is a dedicated breast pathologist? It's not like there's some special credential awarded as far as I can tell...?

candles - I always started with my OB/Gyn, Then I went for an ULS guided biopsy, and that radiologist was really experienced. The my Gyn referred me to a designated Breast Surgeon. She referred me to a medical oncologist who specialized in breast cancer. If you are in a city close to a National Cancer center, I would assume their breast cancer people have lots of experience.
