third recurrence of phyllodes tumor

Hello,

I am new to this forum, but not to these phyllodes tumors. I have had three surgeries in the last year and here it is back. I have had one large tumor removed, had to have another surgery because margins were positive, six months later another tumor with a large "tail" area removed. So here I am again in six months with another one. My question is will I need to continue to have surgeries to have these suckers removed or will I need to have a mastectomy? Is one option better than the other? How do I cope with constantly being on the alert for a lump that keeps getting harder and harder to feel because of my scar tissue. This last one I did not feel, but was found on my six month follow up mammogram. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
