pre-procedural anxiety - eek!!

I already posted in lumpectomy lounge, so apologies for the repeat.

I was diagnosed with a panic disorder this summer - actually a good thing bc then I was started on Lexapro prior to my dcis diagnosis in december. I had a stereotactic core and fainted. now im up for 3 wire locs with excision and am worried I will faint again. ive upped my Lexapro dose, and plan on taking Ativan, but any other tricks are appreciated - surgery is later this week!!! im a pretty tough chick, but have this health anxiety I am working through. trying to keep busy and keep my mind on other things, but how can you not think about it?!!
