From the cancer network. Have any of your doctors said these things? How did it make you feel? Posting here because when first diagnosed everyone wants to find the best care they can. Doctors who say these things might not be the best fit for most of us. Anyway, I thought the list was great not just for oncologists but also for patients. If your doctor says things like this, you may want to see someone else. What do you think?

My best advice is not use a single source like one oncologist or look only at the standard sourre of treatment. My own problem solving skills proved invaluable to how I approached my dx.

You kind of struck a nerve. That is exactly what a good oncologist should do. So many suffer excruciating pain and side effects before a doctor reevaluates. What people are expected to endure is unreal. Barbaric.
