Post Chemo

My Mother finished her 8th cycle of chemotherapy, after recovering for a week, she went in for review today and hey gave her a medication called Letrol 2.5. ( Letrolzole Tablets USP 2.5 mg ) 3 x 10 Tablets.

I want to know, does anyone have any experience using it ? what are some of the side effects ?

    I've been on Femara/letrozole for 7 yrs with not negative side effects. Some do have SEs but not all.

    Letrozole is the generic form of Femara. When I started on it, it was only available in the brand name. It was about a yr later that it became available as the generic letrozole (which is a LOT cheaper that the brand name Femara.

    It is an estrogen blocker for those of us whose BC was ER+ to prevent cells from up taking estrogen which is produced by our bodies even after menopause (natural or surgical) and is in a LOT of foods.
