Stressing out

Options

I had my 6 month check up in September and my onc. said everything looked good and I did not have to see her for another 6 months. I was very excited. Then in mid november I noticed soem bumbs on my cancer side. I have lost 30 lbs ( doing weight watchers) so at first I was thinking its just cause I have lost some weight and can feel more things. Then I have had some muscle soreness so of course I think its actually bone mets (I did start a new weight lifting program a few weeks ago and am training for a marathon- all reasons I could be sore). I am going to see my onc. next week to have her check everything out. But I quess I am trying to figure out how not to let everything freak me out and think its cancer and go running to the doctor. I am guessing I am freaking out becuase I found my orginal lump on christmas day 2014!

some bumps? What did the onc say? A re you all clear?

I don't have any sage wisdom since I am going through a scare myself... which is what I was going to say. I think automatically we will do this to ourselves at least a little.

I wish I had a solution but I don't other than to say you aren't alone!!

    Good luck

Hoping you get the big all clear. Keep us posted. I keep a log on my phone of symptoms do I can keep track of how long things last, etc. I always first think of what it could be if cancer was not in the equation. That helps me to track how long things last, and whether or not I can attribute them to other activities. You are wise to get it checked
