New Mass on Mammogram but not US

Hi,

Today I went in for a mammogram and ultrasound for issues I noticed around my breast reduction scars. Turns out those were normal. However the radiologist found a new area of concern close to my chest wall that is 6mm. It looked like a tiny Lima bean no spikes. I'm waiting to schedule a biopsy. I'm so scared and nervous.

I've been having screening tests since I was 29 (now 36).The last mamm and us I had was in March. My mother and paternal grandmother had post menopausal BC. So my specialist has wanted to keep track of me.

I'm scheduled for a stereotactic biopsy on the 20th. This is so incredibly nerve wracking. I'm trying to focus on doing everyday things but it's almost impossible. I have to boys who need me and I feel so useless and scared.
