edited December 2016 in Waiting for Test Results

I am 36 years old. I went on Tuesday of last week for a screening mammogram (mother had breast cancer last year DCIS in SITU) The screening mammo showed a suspicious area so i went back on Wednesday for a spot compression, Diagnostic Mammo on the left breast. The mammo/ultrasound both found a spot 1.1cm in size, that is located directly adjacent to the pectoralis musculature. It has the radiating configuration and demonstrates an angulated asymmetric nodule with architectural changes posterior depth superior medial left breast. It does say it appears taller than wide, with the internal hypoechoic component measuring 11x4x7mm.

I of course have no idea what all those terms mean, have researched and found quite a bit that frankly has me scared to death. They did send me for a biopsy of the area, but the technician was unable to locate the area, which i believe was only human error. My dr has scheduled an MRI for December 19. But for now i sit and wait and worry. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! I have no idea what im looking at, is this treatable, is it early? Is it invasive? I just have so many questions that are so hard to wait for an answer for. Thank you for any insight anyone may be able to provide.
