CA 27.29 vs CA 15.3

Hi everyone,

I usually have by CA-15.3 drawn and it usually ranges between 18-25. However recently my onc drew the CA-27.29 which was 30.1 and the CA-15.3 was 18. If any of you get both of these done, what is the usual correlation? The one other time I had CA-27.29 done was after my surgery + chemo and it was 19. I am concerned that it is 30 now, but my onc doesnt seem to care much since he is happy that both markers are below normal, and especially since the CA-15.3 is 18. Thoughts?

Hi Ann, if both markers are within normal range I don't think there is cause for concern. They may fluctuate for a variety of reasons.
