Daughter of Mom diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer

I am new to the forum but would like some advice on where to get answers. My mom has mets to the bones and liver.. She has had 4 cycles of chemo and so far other that hair loss has tolerated the medications well. She is her2 positive and on herceptin as well as two other chemo drugs. She had a pet scan this last week to see if chemo is working. All lesions in the bones and liver have decreased in size with the exception of one new liver nodule. This was a bit confusing and scary to us, her dr. Said he would change one of her chemo drugs. Her tumor marker also are down by 50% and all labs and echocardiogram (2) so far have been normal. Just wondering if this is unusual to have improvement of all nodules as well as a new liver nodule? Anyone have any idea
