Dry vagina as a result of Hormone therapy

My PreM daughter had HR positive ILC, had mastectomy, chemo and is now taking Lupron. Ovarian suppression, combined with Aromatase Inhibitors, is the best way to fight her cancer. (SOFT Protocol). She was given Vagifem for dry vagina which does not work. Other than Replens, any other ideas? She was told she could only use Estrace on the outside of the vagina. Has anyone been told they can use some sort of vaginal hormone inside vagina?

I went to a workshop for breast cancer patients that included discussions about this. I learned a lot from Ellen Barnard of Wisconsin. Ellen ( a social worker) and Myrtle Wilhite, a physician and researcher, have a shop and do a lot of work to help cancer survivors regain their health after estrogen depletion. They have a 'Vaginal Renewal Program.'I I have not yet tried their products, but I was impressed with Ellen's knowledge and integrity.

I tried Replens and got a horrible infection that lasted for over a year.
