My daughter came to me today with a lump under her nipple that's sore and she has some discharge. She's only 14 and is definitely not pregnant. I've never seen this situation other then a clogged duct when I was nursing my babies. Has anyone else seen this and what can cause it? Having recently been diagnosed myself with breast cancer, this makes me very nervous for her.

Since you have ILC, take her to your breast surgeon for piece of mind. Estrogen dominance is linked to ILC. she mostly likely have anything more than fibrous tissue. But it doesn't hurt to inquire. She doesn't have to know it's a breast cancer doctor.

I definitely will take her in. You mention that ILC is estrogen dominance. How does that affect things in general, may I ask? I have both IDC and ILC. But does it mean that the fact I have high amounts estrogen in my body mean I am more likely to get ILC? And does that mean my daughter would be more likely even though I don't have a gene for it? Thx
