if you can find Pears soap - original formula only - its mostly glycerine and herbs, and dirt cheap. Dr. Bronners liquid soap is a favorite of mine, particularly the almond and lavender. Herbal Essence has a 0% paraben shampoo that's inexpensive and easily found (clear bottle). Tom's of Maine has good deodorants and toothpastes, but avoid their antiperspirant ;and read the labels carefully if you don't want fluoride in your dental products. (Fluoride is known to weaken bones, and those of us on estrogen blockers are already at risk for osteoporosis . That said, toothpaste goes down the drain, but you probably want a filter for your drinking/cooking water.)

I made a toner from food quality rose water (dirt cheap at international grocery stores) and a tiny bit of witch hazel. I keep it the fridge for a morning wake up. Burts Bees has a rose toner too. Dr. Hauschka has a good line of products. It's a little pricey but they send out 20% off coupons on a regular basis.

Whole Foods or Whole Body have good cosmetic sections with testers. As far as department store cosmetics, I think Origins is a good line. If memory serves, they are certified 95% organic. Hope that helps

I like Lavanilla Sport Luxe deodorant--a bit pricey for deodorant (got it at Amazon) but it holds up through my workouts.

The Acure face scrub works well for me.

I like the Living Nature face products, but I'm not positive they're my final choice.

Still looking for the best lotion and body wash too.

I downloaded the Think Dirty app and keep trying different things I find there--I like that it will give me a score to gauge how bad many common products are--along with recommendations on replacements.

It is far from comprehensive, but I had more luck finding things there than through the EWG Safe Cosmetics site.
