I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February of this year. I had a masectomy and underwent breast reconstruction. I just healed from that. I recently found what I think may be a lump in my opposite breast. I went tot he doctor and I was told that it felt irregular. He said that sometimes Tamoxifen changes the texture of the breast. Has anyone experienced this? He ordered a diagnostic mammogram for me. The wait til then is hard . For those who have had a diagnostic mammogram before what should I expect? When should I expect to know if I am experiencing a recurrence?
