periods and cramping after chemo

I'm 51 years old. I had my last chemo treatment on Oct 5. I haven't had a cycle since April. Two or three weeks after I finished chemo, I had cramps. Last week I had dark discharge for two days.

Given my age, I don't think this is normal.

Has anyone else had this experience?

    We're sorry you're experiencing this! We'd suggest giving your doctor a call, as our main Breastcancer.org site points out on the Vaginal Discharge page:

    "If the discharge looks bloody, see a doctor immediately. Bloody discharge can be a sign of a serious medical condition."

    We are sending positive thoughts that it's completely normal reaction to chemo, but it's always best to be safe and consult with your doctor.
