My MOJO came back...but now I'm worried

Hi...

Here's the necessary background: Finished treatment in 2010 (uni mx, chemo). Was 45 yo when diagnosed but due to blood clot risks w/tamoxifen I did ovarian ablation (Zoladex) to make me post-menopausal so I could take Arimidex instead.

Back in 2013 I had enough of the side effects and gave up the Arimidex/Zoladex.

I also have interstitial cystitis (IC)

DH and I had marital probs exacerbated by cancer saga. No sex w/a partner (if you know what I mean) for the last three years. Now...well, like my thread says, I got my MOJO back (and then some!). DH and I have reconciled and are like newlyweds. Still unable to have intercourse due to pain from IC, but...well, there's more to sex than that

What has me concerned is that for all these years I've experienced typical vag dryness and now suddenly I am more lubricated than when I was in my 20's (am 53 now). I would like to think this is a gift from the universe because DH and I are in such a great place -- but it happened so suddenly...a month ago – dry as ever, the last couple weeks -- total opposite. Like crazy. And I'm filled with desire...like all the time.

I know, I should shut up and enjoy, right, lol? But is this a sign of something going on with my estrogen levels? Do I even have enough estrogen to account for this? What else could cause this dramatic a change? Should I see a dr?

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Hey there!!

Sounds awesome, but just run it by you oncologist, gynecologist, and your gp, just to be safe. Could just be damn awesome luck! But your mind won't rest until you talk with them.
